Women in Ministry

Grace is dedicated to upholding our legacy for encouraging and empowering women in ministry and leadership in Baptist life. Whether this is serving as lay leaders, staff members, deacons, or leading worship, preaching, or being ordained, we believe that women are created and called to lead in all areas of the Church.

Grace Baptist Church first ordained a woman to gospel ministry in 1983 and continues to be a community in which women thrive. We are proud to support the work of Baptist Women in Ministry and Virginia Baptist Women in Ministry.
